CBSE Class 10 Results 2020 Announced: Check results online and offline

The results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 board exams have been announced today—15 July 2020. Students will be able to check their results on various official websites, mobile apps and offline on IVRS telephone numbers.

CBSE will host the board exam results on its websites with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. CBSE-affiliated schools will also receive the results of their students through email.

Students can also view their results through SMS: Type CBSE10<Space><RollNo><Space><Admit Card Id> and send an SMS to 7738299899

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year, students will not visit their school or zonal office to collect their results. Students will get a digital marksheet which can be downloaded from the DigiLocker app.

The press release shared by CBSE has confirmed that over 1.5 lakh students or about 8% students have been placed in the compartment category. The total number of students with compartmental results stands at 1,50,198, which is higher as compared to last year’s figure.

Girls have outperformed boys in terms of overall pass percentage and gender-wise performance. In addition, CBSE has announced the pass percentage for transgender students, which stands at 78.95%, as per media reports.

According to the details shared by CBSE with media persons, a total of 18,85,885 students had registered for the Class 10 board exams, of which 18,73,015 had appeared. The total number of students who passed stands at 17,13,121, taking the overall pass percentage to 91.46%.

Smart ways to check results: Online and offline

DigiLocker App

The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students via SMS on their mobile number registered with CBSE. The board will provide CBSE Class 10 digital academic documents (Marksheet, Migration Certificate and Pass Certificate) through its own academic repository ‘Parinam Manjusha’ which is integrated with DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in.

 

UMANG App

Students can also view their results on UMANG Mobile Platform (available for Android/iOS/Windows) through their smart phones.

 

DigiResults App

The CBSE Class 10 results will be available via the Android mobile app DigiResults, which can be downloaded from Google Play Store.

 

Microsoft’s SMS Organizer App

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 results will be sent to students on their registered mobile number. For this, students will have to download Microsoft’s SMS Organizer app and register themselves to get their scores through SMS. Being an offline feature, students won’t need an internet connection or to log in to a website to get their result.
