CBSE Class 10 Hindi Term 2 2022 Exam Analysis- 18th May

Today CBSE Class 10 Hindi Term 2 examination was conducted successfully throughout the nation. The Term 2 paper carried 40 marks, and students got 2 hours to answer all the questions. Class 10 Hindi Term 2 question paper has two sections- A and B. Both the sections have varying numbers of questions from different units.

Structure of Question Paper

The CBSE Class 10 Hindi Term 2 question paper was a bit lengthy. However, all the questions were based on NCERT textbooks. Therefore, students who thoroughly covered all the NCERT hindi textbooks quickly answered all the questions within time.

The question was divided into two parts. The first part had three questions from Kshitij Part 2 and Kritika Part 2 textbooks. In the second part, students had to answer four completely writing-based questions. Although each question was compulsory to answer, students got options in 4, 5, and 6 questions.

● In question No. 1, students had to answer four questions in 25-30.

● Question No. 2 provided an optional question to students. Here they needed to answer any 3 questions in 25-30 words.

● In the third question, students had to write two out of three questions in 60 words.

● Questions 4-5 were completely writing-based.

● In 4 and 5, students had to write two questions for each one with a word count of 40 and 50, respectively.

● The sixth and seventh questions were lengthy and required a minimum word count of 120 and 150.

Student Feedback on Question Paper

Students had mixed feedback for the Hindi term 2 question paper. Some students rated it moderate to challenging, while the others found it highly difficult and lengthy. Most of the students found the writing part most challenging. They said that it was challenging to frame a solid answer in their time. On the other hand, the literature part was relatively straightforward. Most students confidently attempted all the questions of section A.

Teacher’s Feedback on the Hindi Question Paper

Teachers said that all the questions were based on the NCERT textbooks and CBSE sample papers. The difficulty level was easy to moderate. They highlighted that the question paper was only lengthy, and students required better time management to attempt all the sections. However, students who prepared thoroughly with NCERT books could easily score above 90% marks.
