BITSAT is a computer-based online test for admission to the Integrated First Degree Programmes offered at Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani, at Pilani campus, K.K. Birla Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus.

The BITS Admission Test–2016 (BITSAT) scores will help you get admissions to the following Integrated First Degree Programmes:
1. BITS, Pilani – Pilani Campus:
B.E.: Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing
B.Pharm.
M.Sc.: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, General Studies
2. BITS, Pilani – K. K. Birla Goa Campus:
B.E.: Chemical, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical
i. For programmes except B.Pharm., candidates should have passed the Class 12 examination of the 10+2 system from a recognised central or state board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
ii. For B.Pharm., candidates should have passed the Class 12 examination of the 10+2 system from a recognised central or state board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. However, candidates with PCM may also apply for the Pharmacy programme.
iii. A minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (whichever taken in BITSAT) in Class 12, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects. NOTE: First-rank students of all the central and state boards in India for 2016 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice irrespective of their BITSAT-2016 score according to the eligibility criteria. Further details about this scheme will be available on the BITS website.
Test Format: BITSAT is an objective type, MCQs with four options and only one being correct.
Marking Scheme: Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (−1 mark).
