AIIMS 2016 Exam Date Announced

AIIMS, New Delhi, has announced the exam dates for the undergraduate medical entrance examination.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced the exam dates for the all-India level undergraduate medical entrance examination. The AIIMS MBBS 2016 entrance exam will be conducted on 29 May 2016, and the results will be declared on 14 June. The last date of application is 31 January 2016.

Candidates will compete for 672 MBBS seats at seven AIIMS across the country. While AIIMS, New Delhi, has 72 seats, the other six AIIMS have the remaining 600 seats.

Eligibility: Candidate should have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or equivalent examination from a recognised University/Board with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects and with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates).

Age limit: The minimum age of candidates is 17 years.

Application fee: General/OBC and SC/ST candidates are required to make a payment of Rs 1,000 and Rs 800, respectively.
