According to Modern Periodic law, the physical and chemical properties of the elements are the periodic functions of their atomic numbers. This means that in the Modern periodic table the elements will be arranged in the increasing order of atomic numbers. And that on arranging the elements in the increasing order of atomic numbers in the form of a table, the physical and chemical properties show periodic trends that is repeat themselves at specific intervals.
