Blood circulation in humans includes both pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation.
· Systemic circulation Carries oxygenated blood from the heart (the left ventricle) to the body parts through aorta and carries deoxygenated blood into the heart (the right atrium) through the vena cava.
· Pulmonary circulation Carries deoxygenated blood from the heart (the right ventricle) to the lungs through pulmonary artery and returns the oxygenated blood to the heart (the left atrium) through pulmonary vein.
