Nature of 4^N  will depend on nature of "N".

If N is a natural number, then 4^N will also be a natural number, and it will never end with 0.

because as we see, 

4¹ = 4

4² = 16

4³ = 64

4⁴ = 256

...

 

and so on. The last digit will always repeat as above. 

 

if "N" is an integer, then 4^N is not going to be natural always.

For example:

4^-1 = 0.25

 

Hence, we need to properly define the set of  values that N can take.
