WILL 4 RAISE TO N IS A NATURAL NO. FOR ANY VALUE OF N EVER END WITH THE DIGIT 0
Asked by DHARVI A. BHATT | 21st Jul, 2010, 12:00: AM
Nature of 4N will depend on nature of "N".
If N is a natural number, then 4N will also be a natural number, and it will never end with 0.
because as we see,
41 = 4
42 = 16
43 = 64
44 = 256
and so on. The last digit will always repeat as above.
if "N" is an integer, then 4N is not going to be natural always.
4-1 = 0.25
Hence, we need to properly define the set of values that N can take.
