why we can see in dark(black)?

Expert Answer:

Dear student

We can see whether in dark or light conditions only when certain amount of light is reflected off the objects we wish to see.

In the dark (which is not absolute dark), there could be some amount of light from a feeble source which is falling on the objects in the room, getting reflected & reaching our eyes...& hence we are able to see the objects faintly.
In case of complete absence of source light, we cannot see.

We hope that clarifies your doubt.
