why ,the two wires carrying current in the opposite direction repel and same direction attract?

this can be explained by Mexwell's right hand thumb rule and fleming's left hand - rule.the ,

conductor on left side  produces mangetic field which downward, current in the other conductor is flowing in upwards directions now according to the fleming left hand rule the force applied on the second conductor is towards the first conductor similarly  first  conductor attracted to the second conductor by the magnetic field produced by the second conductor.
