The presence of electron withdrawing group increases the acidic strength in benzene ring as it increases the polarity (–I effect) facilitating the release of H+ ion.While presence of electron donating group decreases the acidic strength.

Here, vinyl group is an electron withdrawing group. Thus, it increases the acid strength in benzene ring.
