why on highly increasing the smoothness of the surface friction increases?

Friction actually increases if the surfaces are made extremely smooth. A kind of cold weld is formed as the atoms are very close to each other, they almost form a single block of metal.

However, the surfaces of everyday objects have layers of oxides and other contaminants that reduce cold-welding so you normally do not observe such a phenomenon.
