Why nullset does not belong to any set A where as null set is a subset of set A

Expert Answer:

Let us consider a set A, say A {a, b, c}.
Set A has 3 elements.

The subsets of A are
{null}, {a}, {b}, {c}, {a,b},{a,c},{a,b,c}
This is true that the null set {} is a subset of A.

But a null set has 0 elements.
This is why the null set is not an element of every set, but a subset of every set.
