why nerves do not come under connective tissue?

Expert Answer:

Nerves are specialized cells capable of transmitting messages to different parts of the body. They are needed for thought and action. They do not connect and anchor various body organs like the connective tissue. Also, connective tissue does not contain cells capable of transmitting stimuli. Hence nerves are not included under connective tissue.
