In ferromagnetic substances, the net dipoles of all the resultant dipoles is oriented along the direction of the magnetic field and hence it facilitates to the flow of magnetic field. It is easy to magnetize the material and it easy to make the dipoles allign in a particular way so that the field may pass through it. Hence it passes through it.
