CBSE Class 10 Answered

why is the fuse wire put in seris with the electric circuit?
Asked by snigdhaa138_461 | 01 Sep, 2010, 02:32: AM
answered-by-expert Expert Answer
Because the same amount of current will pass through the electric circuit as through the fuse wire, which will not be the case if connected in parallel. And if the current is high fuse wire will melt and the current can no longer flow through the circuit and circuit is saved from damage.
