why is the emf zero , when maximum number of magnetic lines of force pass through the coil?

Expert Answer:

When maximum number of magnetic lines of force pass through the coil, then they can't increase any more since it's already the maximum capacity, and the induced emf is propotional to the rate of change change and not to the number of magnetic lines of force. Therefore since rate of change of magnetic lines of force is zero, emf is zero.
