why is the direction of magnetic field lines inside the magnet from south pole to the north pole?

Expert Answer:
Because when we say field lines outside the magnet originates at North pole, well where are they coming from to this North pole and anwer is from South pole but inside the magnet only.
Hence the direction of magnetic fileld lines is from south to north pole inside the magnet.
