CBSE Class 7 Answered
Why is it so that after holding our breath for sometime, we tend to breathe heavily?

Expert Answer
It happens because the level of carbon dioxide starts building up in our blood while we hold our breath. And when we actually start breathing, the demand for oxygen increases in our body due to which we breathe heavily. It later becomes normal.
