why is it dangerous to get off a moving bus?

It is dangerous to get of a moving bus because when we are in bus at that time we are in motion and while getting off from that moving bus our body suddenly gets in rest which is opposed by inertia of motion. hence we tend to move forward while getting down hence may fall.
