Expert Answer
Copper Tis a method of contraception.
Copper T (Cu-T) is a small T-shaped Intrauterine Device (IUD) made of soft plastic and copper, that is placed in the uterus to prevent pregnancy.
It releases copper in the uterine cavity, which prevents the sperm from fertilising the egg. It reduces the number and viability of sperms reaching the egg. In case of fertilisation it stops the fertilised egg from making its way to the uterus because the copper kills the fertilised egg.
