Why flourine forms one oxoacid,HOF. Explain

F is the most electronegative element and in contrast to other halogens it exits only in -1 oxidation state. This is because in the absence of vacant orbitals, it is unable to excite its ns or np electron pairs.Its atomic size is also very small.Therefore, it is unable to exist as central atom in higher oxoacids.So, flourine forms one oxoacid,HOF.
