As per mathematical statements-

Every point on the number line represent unique real number and corresponding to every real number there be unique point on Number line.

So; it represents roots of positive real number.

Think on cases when the number is a negative one or decimals.
 
So it is not necessary that every point on Number line is of form, root m where m is natural number.
