In the electrolysis of lead bromide, reduction takes place at cathode and oxidation takes place at anode so the electrolysis of lead bromide is an redox reaction.
At cathode : Pb+2 + 2e- → Pb( Reduction)
At anode : Br- - e- → Br (Oxidation)
Br + Br → Br2
