Expert Answer:

Dear student,
Eggs are non motile. They are not provided with any means of locomotion unlike the sperms. Sperms are highly active and motile and can travel from vagina (where they are deposited during intercourse) into the fallopian tube for fertilisation. In addition, there is no purpose of travelling of egg to the male body since the male body is not designed to carry and take care of the embryo.
