why dos the sun appear oval at sunset and surise but appears circular at noon

At sunset or sunrise, sun is at horizon. Lightrays from sun has to travel long distance .
Also light rays are coming from vacuum to earth's atmosphere to reach earth.
Hence refraction of light is taking place in atmosphere and path of light rays from sun to earth is not straight line.
This deviation from straight line ( bending of light ray ) is not same for light rays coming from top region of sun and
bottom region of sun due to atmosphere density variation. Hence sun appears as oval in shape.
At noon, light rays from sun travels short ditance in comparison with sunset or sunrise.
Moreover angle of incidence to atmosphere for light rays is near to normal, hence refraction is minimum or negligible.
Hence at noon, shape of sun is circle.
