Expert Answer:

In Electrostatics , as the name suggests, is about static charges i.e. the charges that do not move. The induce charges sustain only in insulators. The conductors permit charges to flow such that any charge seperation is quickly neutralized. The wet hair make hair conducting .Hence, no static charges build up .
