why does the pendulum bob stop oscillating after sometime?where does its energy go?is it violating law of conservation of energy?

The pendulum bob stops oscillating after sometime due to the air resistance offered to it and due to the friction at the point of support.
The energy of the bob is gained by the air molecules which gain speed as the bob strikes them and is also used up in producing heat and sound at the point of support.
It does not violate the law of conservation of energy because energy only changes from one form to the other.
