Expert Answer
Concentration is defined as number of moles per unit volume. When we are diluting strong acid, volume of water is increased which means volume is increased. In dilution, number of moles per unit volume decrreases and less number of H+ ions persent in per unit volume. So, concentration is decreased.
For example- If same ammount of HCl is dissolved in 2L and 3L of water. Concentration of H+ ion would be greater than 3L of water.
