The major reason was to grow and develop the feeling of Indian Nationalism and obtain the Japanese support for the Indian Independence Movement.
This League closely interacted and commanded the first Indian National Army under Mohan Singh.
Very soon, this league got dissolved.
Rash Behari Bose then, handed over the Indian National Army to Subhas Chandra Bose
