Expert Answer
Is the question, ''Why gases are compressible but not liquids?''
Gas molecules have lot of space inbetween the molecules, which is absent in case of liquid molecules.
On compression, the spaces between gas molecules are removed, and they come closer which results into the liquid state of that matter.
Thus, gas get compressed to form liquid due to presence of space inbetween gas molecules.
