The salaries of the Judges of Supreme Court and High Courts is decided by the President of India according to Article 125 and Article 221 of the Constitution of India respectively. Judges are paid salaries out of the Consolidated Fund of India and the Parliament cannot change the salaries of the judges to their disadvantage.
