where the concave lens are used?

The primary use of concave lens is in the correction of defect of the eye called Myopia (or short sightedness).
 
Other prominent use of concave lens is in the telescopes. The convex lens is used in telescopes to focus light to the eye. However, there is good amount of distortion in the light refracted from a convex lens, and hence a concave lens is also used in combination of convex to get a perfect focussing.
 
The other use includes, flashlights, cameras, etc.
