When we close the door with a banging sound, then the glass windows vibrate.Why is it so?

Dear Student,
Due to the door banged, vibrations are set up, which are trasmitted throughout the wall.
But the wall has a higher intertia, and no oscillate at unobserved amplitude, but when the same vibrations are transmitted to windows, with low inertia, we can observe it vibrate.
