When we close the door with a banging sound, then the glass windows vibrate. Why is it so?

Due to the door banged, vibrations are set up, which are trasmitted throughout the wall.
But the wall has a higher intertia, and no oscillate at unobserved amplitude, but when the same vibrations are transmitted to windows, with low inertia, we can observe it vibrate.
