When does the magnification become zero?

Dear student
Manification cannot be zero as m = -v/u = I/o.
In the special case, say for convex lens when u = ∞, then v = f and M = −f / ∞ = 0. This corresponds to a collimated beam being focused to a single spot at the focal point. Thsi is the instance when m =0.

We hope that resolve your query
