ICSE Class 10 Answered
When do we use s=n/2(a+l) formula and when do we use s=n/2 x {2a+(n-1)d} formula in the sum of a.p?

When we have given or can find first term and last term, then to find the sum we can use the formula S = n/2(a+l)
If the first term and common difference are given or can be obtained with the given information, we must use the S = n/2(2a+(n-1)d) to get the sum
