The term human resources refers to the size of the population of a country along with its efficiency, educational qualities, productivity, organisational abilities and farsightedness.
Human resources are an important resource of the country. A country may be endowed with several natural resources, but all these resources cannot help the country until and unless they are tapped, handled and used in a planned way. This can be done only by people who are trained. Educated and healthy people are an important resource for the country.
