What will happen to the amplitude of pendulum if it is immersed in water?
Asked by A M | 12 Aug, 2010, 08:03: PM
answered-by-expert Expert Answer
If the pendulum is immersed in water, then there will be force of bouyancy acting on the bob that will make the effective weight of the bob less and hence the effective value of g will decrease. and since the time perios is inversly proportional to the value of g, hence it will increase.
