CBSE Class 10 Answered
What will happen if a person's pancreas has to be removed or it is completly damaged?

A person whose pancreas is completely removed, will have to take pancreatic enzyme supplements and insulin. The pancreatic enzyme supplements are needed for proper digestion to take place.
Such a person cannot make his own insulin and hence will quickly develop diabetes if insulin is not regularly introduced into the body.
