Focal length f of combination of lenses separated by distance d is given by
 
begin mathsize 14px style 1 over f space equals space 1 over f subscript 1 plus 1 over f subscript 2 minus space fraction numerator d over denominator f subscript 1 space f subscript 2 end fraction end style
 
where f1 and f2 are the focal lengths of individual lenses
 
we have  f1 = 10 cm , f2 = -5 cm and d = 5 cm
 
if we substitute values in above expression for combined focal length , we get combined focal length is infinity
 
Hence image will be formed at infinity
