What will be impact on ecosystem if bacteria and fungi are removed from the environment?

Microbes have a profound impact on the ecosystem. They affect every facet of human life and everything around us. Without microbes, humans and most other multicellular organisms wouldn't be alive.
The important impacts of bacteria and fungi on ecosystems are:

(1) They generate oxygen in the atmosphere.

 
(2) They recycle nutrients stored in organic matter to an inorganic form.
 
(3) They fix nitrogen from the atmosphere into a useable form.
 
(4) They allow herbivores to consume poor quality food.
 
(5) They give plant roots access to nutrients in the soil.
