what was the impact of hitler action in soviet union

Hitler attacked the Soviet Union in July 1941. At the time when Hitler's forced attacked Soviet Union, German mobile killing units began the mass murder of Soviet Jews. German military and civilian occupation policies led to the deaths of millions of Soviet prisoners of war and Soviet civilians. There was death and destruction everywhere in the Soviet Union.  However, the Nazi forces were defeated by the Soviet army and driven out of the Eastern Europe.
