Expert Answer:
Germany faced severe financial crises after accepting the terms of the Treaty of Versailles. The value of German currency ‘Marks’ fell drastically resulting in ‘hyperinflation’. To help Germany, America introduced the Dawes Plan which eased out the terms of reparation in order to reduce the financial burden on Germans.
