2 x plus open parentheses negative 7 over 3 close parentheses equals 3 over 7 rightwards double arrow 2 x equals 3 over 7 plus 7 over 3 equals fraction numerator 9 plus 49 over denominator 21 end fraction rightwards double arrow 2 x equals 58 over 21 rightwards double arrow x equals 29 over 21
