What shall be the next step if P(1) is false?

Condition 1: If it is given that the result holds true for all natural numbers and p(1) is false. Then the result is not valid.
Condition 2: If it is specified that the result is true for n>1 then prove p(2) is true and there by p(n) and p(n+1) should hold.
