Expert Answer
Actually when electrons revolve around the nucleus it constitutes current and we know that current produce magnetic field. As every thing is made of atoms that's why magnets show magnetic effects and due to the distribution of atoms in a material the magnetic field lines are drawned.
It is the magnetic field pattern due to which attraction or repulsion is decided.
