Expert Answer
Thermal Radiation - The radiation from an object due to it's thermal content, the temperautre.
Every object with a temperature greater than absolute zero, emits radiation - electromagnetic waves. The radiation frequency is related to the temperature of the object. At sufficiently high temperature, iron rod appears red, this is because the thermal radiation has a frequency of red light.
