What is the working of an AC Generator?

Expert Answer
A.C Generator works on the principle of elecromagnetic induction. In generator, induced emf is produced by rotationg the coil in the magnetic field. The value of emf generated depends on the following factors :
1) The number of turns in coil
2) The strength of magnetic field
3) the speed at which the coil rotate in magnetic field.
The flux linking the coil changes continuously and hence continuous emf is generated.
