what is the need of elements? .........i mean for classifying

Dear student
Classification of elements has been done for our convinience. The classification helps us to better understand the interrelationships between the physical and chemical properties elements. For example Group 1 elements easily lose their valence shell electron and form cations. Similarly, elements classified as halogen have high electronegativity or Group 18 elements are inert in nature.
