What is the main cause of yawning? If the answer is due to lack of oxygen in the brain. then why does it occur when we see a person yawning?

Yawning involves opening the mouth involuntarily while taking a long, deep breath of air. This is usually done as a result of drowsiness or weariness.
This is a nervous reflex of our brain. we tend to yawn when we see someone else yawn because we somehow connect to that person's mind when he/she's not having right amount of oxygen in his/her body.
