Asked by palvinder sethi | 25 Jan, 2011, 06:43: PM
Dear Student,
DNA copying or replication is a very essential process. DNA contains the genetic material of the organism and plays a very pivotal role in the evolution of the organism. DNA regulates the entire process of cell division and DNA replication allows transfer of characteristics from parent to offspring. DNA replication is followed by transcription leading to translation or protein synthesis.
We hope that clarifies your query.
